Role Overview

Great opportunity for someone with a background in Biochemistry/Chemistry to move into a specialist role with a manufacturer! The company manufacture and distribute a specialist product line, they are growing year on year and provide excellent product and sales training. This is a consultative and technical sell.

TERRITORY: South-West UK
PRODUCTS: Chemistry laboratory equipment
CUSTOMERS: Research and Industrial Laboratories

This role is field-based, with 80% travel to customer sites across the region and one day per week working from home, booking appointments etc.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Driving sales across the territory.
- Working towards quarterly and annual sales targets
- Providing demonstrations, presentations and seminars to clients
- Supporting the wider team and other territories when required
- Proactive development of strategy
- Maintaining an up to date customer database using our CRM system


Person Specification

- Degree level qualification in a scientific subject, with post-degree laboratory experience.
- Excellent communication skills
- Sales experience desirable but not essential
