Patient Insights Manager

LOCATION: Middlesex

REPORTING TO: Director of Customer Insight

KEY OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Be responsible for the understanding of patient drivers to selecting medicines, adhering to medicines and advocating medicines in therapy areas relevant to the the company's business

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Identify and implement solutions to capture, store and analyse data derived from usage of the company's products.
" To interpret data sources including usage data from the company's delivery devices, field based insights and market research based insights to develop a deep understanding of patient drivers into the selection, adherence and endorsement of medicines in therapy areas of interest to the company
" Propose solutions to capture patient insights through novel and emerging sources across the multimedia spectrum
" Develop and implement clear plans per therapy area to achieve these insights
" Work with business units and market access to build patient centred solutions and services that add value to the company portfolio based on these patient insights
" Liaise with Global functions to ensure two way communication flow and alignment with global strategy and activities relating to patient insights. Champion UK input into any global materials and utilise global project results for UK business needs.
" To ensure all Global materials to be used in the UK are fully ABPI compliant.
" To comply with all UK regulatory guidelines and company SOPs in relation to the 2012 ABPI Code of Practice, IPHA, MHRA and all other authorities related to your functional position.

KEY INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Business Intelligence Analysts, Market Access Director, Health Economics Manager, Managing Director, Business Unit Directors, ABPI approval teams and Communications Manager, Global Market Research Team, Sales Managers, Marketing Managers, CRM Manager, Nursing Management team.

ESSENTIAL:
Educated to degree level standard.
Experience within a Market Insight/ Business Intelligence type role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with BHBIA, including knowledge of Legal and Ethical Framework and Adverse Events Reporting.
Creative thinking
Excellent communication skills and project management.
Data analysis and interpretation skills
Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint).
Valid full driving license. Valid passport.
Prepared to undertake some level of travel in Europe and some time away from home on business.

DESIRABLE:
Market Research or Business Intelligence or related qualification or alternatively
CIM diploma or similar in Marketing.

Experience of working in specialist markets where no standard data (e.g. IMS) exists.
