Role Overview

Job purpose

Part of a small team, you will be responsible for repair and maintenance of our veterinary imaging product range, including ultrasound equipment and viewed devices. You will receive fully training on all our products so that you can support the full range of systems over an 18+ months training period. Based in our Gormanston office there will be occasional travel to customer sites. You may also occasionally be required to visit our head office in Scotland.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Completion of all aspects of service calls, including all necessary paperwork and update of business processes to support:
•  Ensure that service calls, where possible are kept within a 2-day turnaround time and service jobs are kept up to date
•  Liaise with suppliers as required to ensure completion of service jobs within turnaround time
•  Adherence to Service processes and effective, high quality service by utilising existing KPIs and focusing on continuous improvement
•  Ensure there is a seamless link between after sales support for all x-ray, ultrasound equipment and medical equipment.
•  Provide support to both internal and external customers as required
•  Maintain and develop the company brand in the marketplace and promote company values to all customers, clients and staff
•  General admin duties as required

Person Specification

Education/ experience
•  Academic qualification in one of the following fields: Electrical Eng. / electro-optic Eng. / physics
•  Electronic background
•  If you are a recent graduate; knowledge or experience with either practical technical service for complex systems, aviation / medical systems and/or technical would be advantageous.
•  Fluent English
