We are delighted to be recruiting a field service engineer on behalf a leading European OEM in high-end laboratory equipment based in Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

Role Overview

The role is primarily focusing on the service, modifications and repairs of pharmaceutical refrigeration, ultra-low temperature freezers and incubators.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•  Independently carry out any repairs, modifications and maintenance work.
•  Work is carried out with a high degree of autonomy;
•  With a high degree of autonomy, carry out more complex repairs, maintenance work and modifications, and test equipment in a correct and timely manner to a high standard. Include this in the records.
•  Proper hygiene needs to be observed when carrying out repairs on/in equipment exposed to the risk of bacterial contamination.

Person Specification

•  Category B driving licence
•  F-gas qualified
•  Passion for business success
•  Information seeking/problem solving/decision making
•  Global mind and breakthrough (outside of the box) thinking
•  Working efficiency
•  At least 1 year working in refrigeration OR a technical qualification in Electrical/Mechanical engineering
