Company Information
New design engineer vacancy with an OEM that specialise on a comprehensive range of clean air equipment. The company has since grown rapidly to become the UKs market leader in Class I,II&III Microbiological Safety Cabinets.Key Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities- Producing technical drawings of set designs using computer aided software design programmes (AutoCAD)
- Working extensively with sheet metal and solid works with clients in the contained air industry in laboratory environments
- Creating concept designs for clients
- First 12 months will be extensive training on site
Person Specification
- At least two years in mechanical design projects.- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
- Proficient computer skills including usage of Outlook and Microsoft packages.
- Fully proficient with Solid Works, 3D drafting package.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving can-do attitude
- Self-starter, able to work independently as well as within a team
- HNC in mechanical engineering is ideal but not necessary
- Happy to travel once trained
Package
- Salary dependent on experience- Company car (after 12 months training on site)
- Bonus (£500 per annum)
- 5% Pension
- 25 Days Holiday + BH
