Role Overview

TERRITORY: South-East England
PRODUCTS: Full product range: specializes in the development, production and distribution of life science consumables & laboratory products.
CLIENTS: University and NHS

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•  Maintain and develop sales opportunities with existing clients.
•  Identify and prospect new clients; and develop new business opportunities.
•  Upselling and cross-selling from the company product portfolio to meet assigned targets.
•  Arrange and conduct customer meetings to support direct sales efforts, allocating a minimum of 2 days per week to in-field face-to-face meetings with customers.
•  Attend trade show, where appropriate and necessary, to develop new business opportunities.
•  Negotiate contracts and close agreements to increase revenue streams and maximize profits.
•  Serve as the lead point of contact for all assigned customers and all account management matters.
•  Develop and maintain long-term relationships, at all levels of management and responsibility, with current customers and accounts.
•  Ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
•  Communicate client needs to, and liaise with, internal staff to ensure the provision of appropriate customer service.

Person Specification

•  Bachelors degree, or higher, in a relevant scientific subject and/or relevant work experience.
•  Sales experience, preferably in laboratory consumables or equipment.
•  Full UK Driving Licence
•  Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
