Role Overview

Sales Representative

Territory: Surrey, Sussex, Kent, South London
Products: High quality laboratory plastic consumables, Blood collection and instruments
Clients: Academia and Research Labs

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•  To achieve sales targets.
•  To build, develop and exploit profitable relationships with all current and potential customers within the assigned territory;
•  To ensure professional standards of customer service and support at all times;
•  To ensure effective journey planning and time management;
•  Improve 'face to face' selling time by means of efficient planning and appointments;
•  Gather customer intelligence and feedback to enable a proactive participation in product enhancement and new product development;
•  To monitor and report changes in market trends and competitor activities;
•  To organise and attend local exhibitions, and to attend national exhibitions when required;
•  To maintain customer records within the territory;
•  To ensure all literature, presenters and other business material is presented in a professional manner and that it is current and fit for purpose;
•  Provide requests of product samples and quotations for customers;
•  Timely management and submission of all required reports and requests;
•  To ensure that all company standards and policies are adhered to.

Person Specification

Educated to Degree level in a Science Related Subject
Motivation to enter a commercial sales role
Full Clean Driving License
