PRODUCTS: Companion/ Small Animal pharmaceuticals

ROLE: To provide technical assistance and customer support to MSD Animal Health's customers.

Our Veterinary Support Group is one of the key interfaces with our customers and that’s where you come in.
In this diverse and challenging role, you will be working closely with members of our other commercial teams, to handle and record all customer enquiries. In addition you will also play an integral part in providing first rate product and promotional support together with our marketing team, whilst also working with our teams of Veterinary Advisers to fulfil pharmacovigilance obligations.

A natural communicator with plenty of initiative and a commitment to providing top class customer care,
ideally you will have a good understanding of life in a veterinary practice.

" Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
" Qualified Veterinary Nurse or Animal Health degree

" AMTRA qualified

Key Specialist Skills

" Good IT and keyboard skills
" Familiar with a range of computer-based systems
" Able to perform accurate data entry
" Good administrative skills

" Knowledge of the veterinary pharmaceutical industry

Key Personal Skills

" Good telephone manner and customer service skills
" Good oral and written communication skills
" Self motivated and able to work on own initiative
" Able to contribute to team objectives
" Organised and calm under pressure

Key Experience

" Experience of working as a veterinary nurse in a large veterinary practice

" Commercial / customer service experience
