Category Planning Manager Business Unit: Purina

Location: Croydon, South London

As a Category Planning Manager, you will be responsible for providing leading edge category review capability across all the channels on a project basis. Key responsibilities in your role as Category Planning Manager will be to provide recommendations that meet the needs of the shopper and deliver growth for Customers as well as Nestlé Purina. Internally you will act as an advisor to the business on the effective deployment of New Product Development, range extensions and product merchandising fundamentals.

Personne Profil

To enable you to deliver your responsibilities in your Category Planning Manager role you will have excellent space planning experience and communication skills enabling you to engage and build instant creditability with customers and key stake holders both internally and externally. Key to this will be using analytical skills to understand category performance that will enable you to make recommendations to drive category growth.

We are looking for applicants who have proven category or commercial experience and experience of working within the retail industry would be advantageous. You would be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of category management techniques. Your ability to think strategically, influence and convince others, along with your awareness and curiosity are of paramount importance. We are particularly interested in seeing candidates with line management experience or ambitions.
