Territory - South West, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Avon, Devon, Cornwall, across to Hampshire, essentially draw a line directly up from Southampton, None of Wales

Role: The account manager is the single point of contact for existing and potential customer identifying and coordinating sales leads with all other Siemens DX sales activities at the account, e.g., POC Sales Specialist, Pre Analytical Systems MM, PAS Haematology, Haemostasis Speciality (HHS),Product Specialist Chemistry and Immunoassays (PS CI)

To meet or exceed the assigned sales targets through 100% identification of leads and decision makers and their requirements in existing and new accounts. Promote Siemens solutions to existing and potential customers and act as the bridge between customer challenges and Siemens answers. Effective management of the sales and tender cycle and ad hoc sales opportunities as specified in the sales process guide. Pro-actively maintain existing business base through account management and act as the single point of contact for the account to address any non-technical issues. Also act as the customer champion within the DX organisation to drive for issue resolution. Manage complex sales projects and bid preparation from opportunity development to contract negotiation together with the Business Development Managers (BDM). Pass over POC sales projects to POC Sales Specialist whilst leading the project approach for POC targets within the account. Pass over MM sales projects to PASS MM whilst leading the project approach for MM targets within the account. Pass over HHS sales projects to PASS Haema whilst leading the project approach for HHS targets within the account.

Commission OTE for Account Managers is £12,000 - £15,000

Personne Profil

Diagnostic sales experience/capital sales experience
Formal sales training, track record of sales excellence and attainment.
Requires professional selling skills in order to achieve targets.
Understand purchasing methods employed by public organisations.
