Responsible for: Dental Professional Detailing and supervision of 5-7 dental consultants within their region

Main purpose of the job: 50% of time spent mentoring direct reports and supervising their activities and periodic contact with their direct reports. 50% of time spent detailing, selling and merchandising Colgate and Professional products to the dental profession in the practice, the community and hospitals.

Responsibilities/Duties: Detailing Responsibilities:
-Call on dentists, hygienists, area health authorities and dental hospitals located within their territory.
- The aim of the call is to establish contact, build rapport, sell professional products encourage recommendation, merchandise the products and educate the dental professional as to benefits of our products.
-Achieve KPIs established at the beginning f each year
-Responsible for maintaining customer records within a computerised database, summarising where the have been, who they have seen, how much they have sold, competitor activity and feedback on Colgate products.
-At the beginning of each quarter a journey plan for the whole quarter is to be completed and then updated weekly.
-This role involves detailing, selling and merchandising Colgate products to either existing or new customers in the dental sector. The detailing focus will be on providing technical and product information through arranging, administering and presenting at trade exhibitions, educational group meetings to dentists and on a one-to-one basis.

Field Detailing Supervision:
This position will supervise 5-7 dental consultants. This includes the following activities:
-Provide consistent coaching and feedback on an ongoing basis.
-Ride with direct reports bi-monthly.
0Enusre detailing programmes are being executed flawlessly.
-Ensure that detailing tools are provided and utilised properly- detailing material, samples etc.
-Ensure KPIs for responsible territories are achieved. Provide training based on national training programme.
-Conduct mid year and annual performance appraisals and IDPs in accordance with Colgate Performance Management and Development Guidelines.
